while driving around with my faction member, we noticed a male player walking around with an Automatic Rifle (ARP) out. This caught our attention, and we decided to attempt a robbery since he was armed and appeared vulnerable.
We started to chase him, trying to find a way to get him to stop so we could carry out our plan. The target player was running quickly, moving through different areas to evade us, which made the chase exciting but challenging.
Eventually, we managed to catch up to him when he had sheathed his ARP. At this moment, we approached him to initiate the robbery. However, instead of acting scared or engaging in proper roleplay, he suddenly jumped into the water. This action showed that he wasn't respecting the roleplay rules and wasn't afraid for his life, which we consider fail roleplay.
His jump into the water felt like a way to escape the situation without engaging with us, which is unfair. We believe this is a clear case of power gaming, as it disrupts the flow of roleplay for everyone involved.
To add to the issue, shortly after jumping into the water, the player logged out of the game. This is known as combat logging and is against server rules. Logging out in the middle of an interaction takes away the consequences of his actions and further ruins the experience for us.
Requested Action:
We would like to request that all items the target player had in his pockets at the time of the incident be returned to us. This includes the Automatic Rifle (ARP) that he was showing earlier. We believe it’s important to uphold the rules of the game and ensure that all players engage in fair roleplay.
